The artist has been recognized as a contemporary, innovative glass bead-maker by the International Society of Glass Beadmakers through inclusion in several International Society of Glass Bead Makers juried traveling exhibitions such as Convergence III: Inspirations and Interpretations--Art Glass Bead Jewelry Inspired by Other Works of Art, as well other ISGB juried exhibits such as Convergence II: Adorning the Past, Present and Pretend. She has also been selected to exhibit her work in Convergence: Contemporary Jewelry Design with Art-Glass Beads, co-sponsored by Bead and Button magazine, Out of the Box: Pushing the Boundaries of the Glass Bead, and Metamorphosis: The Life-Cycle of a Glass Bead.
Winter Dreams was second-place award winner in the lampwork category in the 2013 BEAD DREAMS international competition sponsored by Bead & Button Magazine. Yellow Poppies was selected as a finalist in the 2011 Bead & Button magazine's BEAD DREAMS juried exhibit in the lampwork category.
Her work has appeared in several of the juried Lark Book series including 500 Bead Jewelry, Showcase 500 Art Necklaces and 1000 Beads. Her work has also been published in Bead & Button Magazine, Ornament and The Flow Magazine.
Hager Studios beads and jewelry are available in select bead stores, galleries, shows and the internet.
