ISGB Out-of-the-Box: Pushing the Boundaries of the Glass Bead Two glass bead sculptures created by Susan Matych-Hager of Hager Studios were selected to be featured in this prestigious, traveling juried exhibit of international contemporary, boundary-pushing glass beadmakers. Sponsored by the International Society of Glass Beadmakers, the exhibit is scheduled for the following installations:

Catalogue: Metamorphosis: The Life-Cycle of a Glass Bead Heinz History Center (HHC) Pittsburgh, PA May 5 – July 14, 2007. Evoke Gallery St. Paul, MN July 26 – September 8, 2007 Celebrating its 15th year anniversary, the International Society of Glass Beadmakers (ISGB) announced the glass bead jewelry exhibit, Metamorphosis: The Life Cycle of a Glass Bead. This exhibit highlighted the life cycle of a glass bead through the display of a single glass bead and its incorporation into a complete piece of jewelry. According to the Glass Art Society, Metamorphosis showcased the exemplary work of some of the finest glass beadmakers. Susan Matych-Hager was one of forty- four artists nationwide accepted into this prestigious exhibit.
