
elcome to Hager Studios, home of Susan Matych-Hager, handmade lampwork glass art bead and jewelry artist. The artist has been recognized as a contemporary, innovative glass bead-maker by the International Society of Glass Beadmakers through inclusion in Convergence III: Inspirations and Interpretations--Art Glass Bead Jewelry Inspired by Other Works of Art(2011), as well as the current ISGB juried traveling exhibit, Convergence II: Adorning the Past, Present and Pretend (2010). She has also been selected to exhibit her work in Convergence: Contemporary Jewelry Design with Art-Glass Beads (2009), co-sponsored by Bead and Button magazine, Out of the Box: Pushing the Boundaries of the Glass Bead (2008), and Metamorphosis: The Life-Cycle of a Glass Bead (2007). In 2011, Yellow Poppies was selected as a finalist in Bead & Button magazine's BEAD DREAMS juried exhibit in the lampwork category. Hager Studios beads and jewelry are available in select bead stores, galleries, shows and the internet. |
